Antonina's UFC contract was re-extended after this win. Antonina Shevchenko debuted in UFC during her debut at the TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko won the fight with a unanimous decision. She losing her following fight to Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina rebounded from her loss to beat Lucie Pudilova by choking her back in a rear-naked submission in the second round UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the extra fight of the night in this fight. Shevchenko was a 1-2 winner in her next 3-fights, defeating Ariane Lipski, and then losing to Katlyn Chookagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina was defeated by Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO in the second round of UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
