Antonina Shevchenko is Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani and Peruvian Muay Thai MMA fighter as well as a mixed martial artist currently competing in the flyweight division of UFC. She is the younger sister of her fellow UFC fighter and the former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her combat sports journey as an Muay Thai boxer. Antonina's UFC contract was re-extended after this win. Antonina Shevchenko debuted in UFC during her debut at the TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko won the fight with a unanimous decision. She losing her following fight to Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina rebounded from her loss to beat Lucie Pudilova by choking her back in a rear-naked submission in the second round UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the extra fight of the night in this fight. Shevchenko was a 1-2 winner in her next 3-fights, defeating Ariane Lipski, and then losing to Katlyn Chookagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina was defeated by Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO in the second round of UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
